Guidance Automation Toolkit

I have just discovered a set of software recommendations known as the Guidance Automation Toolkit, which if it works as advertised will help us write alot of good code "factory style", which is something that I am very interested in for my new role at Perficient.  I'm trying to set up a set of best practices, and guidelines for my development team as we start tackling .Net 2.0 projects, as well as producing a collection of reusable tools to use as we move forward with some upcoming initiatives.  I have looked at CodeSmith, snippets, Enterprise Application Blocks, and have now just stumbled on the Guidance Toolkit.

There is so much out there, that it's hard to keep up sometimes.  This toolkit came out over the summer, when I was working for another employer who happened to be the anti-christ of process lead development.  I have been to the mountain people, and I have seen how bad it can get, which is why I'm so determined to not have that same scenario repaeated on me in my future endeavors.

Just scratching the surface of this toolkit, but I will keep you informed of what I find.  In the meantime, check it out for yourself, you might learn something.
